    Sprayer Recommendations:

    • Use a 0.011-0.013 orifice size for the tip
    • Always test on cardboard before spraying and adjust air pressure on the sprayer if needed
    • Use a spray tent to avoid overspray in a well-ventilated area
    • Begin spraying slightly off your piece, then move side to side. Avoid starting directly on your piece to prevent sagging.

    LuxeLacquer Recommendations:

    • Apply thin coats
    • Use at least two coats
    • Always wear a respirator or appropriate dust mask when sanding
    • Do not paint in direct sunlight
    • Lightly sand between coats
    • Allow to cure for 5-6 hours

      Step-by-Step Instructions:

      Step 1: Thin Primer

Since you'll be spraying LuxeLacquer, you need to thin the primer. Pour your primer into a plastic container and add roughly 3-5% mineral spirits. Stir well.

      Step 2: Pour Into Sprayer

Use a paper funnel (available at local paint/hardware stores) to strain the paint into the sprayer base. If the paint is puddling, it needs more thinning. Prepare your sprayer for painting.

      Step 3: Begin Spraying

After sanding and using Clean Slate to prepare your surface, spray a light, thin coat. Full coverage is not necessary at this stage. Allow it to dry for at least 6-8 hours before sanding your piece.

      Step 4: Prep LuxeLacquer

LuxeLacquer has a thinner viscosity than the primer, so no additional thinning is required. Funnel LuxeLacquer directly into the sprayer.

      Step 5: Spray LuxeLacquer

After testing and adjusting on your cardboard piece, begin spraying your surface with a thin coat. Allow it to dry for at least 6-8 hours between coats. Lightly sand between coats for best results.

Follow these steps to achieve a stunning lacquered finish that looks professional and elegant. Happy painting!
