I Love how the wax looks on the metal but the top is suppose to be gray why does it look so white. The can showed a darker color actually the color it should be. Is there an explanation??

This brush is made so well that I didn’t even tape the glass for this project. The brush made a beautiful line of gel stain on the edge of the inserts and NO bristle breakages. Worth every penny!

My first experience with Bergere Blue paint, I painted this crummy table, applied transfers to the legs and then waxed the living daylights out of it.
Wow! My first attempt at refinishing ANYTHING! My wife hated the color of the original cabinets and was speaking with my sister, who swears by Amy Howard. So, we purchased everything necessary. I decided I’d try and ‘help,’ but after a few minutes of clean slate, allowing it to dry and painting with the ‘Linen,’ colored One Step, I was hooked!!! I ended up doing most of the project myself. I was amazed at how wonderful it looked when finished. I can’t wait for a ‘honey do list.’…;)

Some of the bristles fell out and I had to retrieve them from the paint surface.

The Amy Howard chip brushes are the best I’ve ever worked with. They have far more bristles on the brush, the bristles are more intact and don’t come off at nearly the clip that a local hardware store chip brushes do. If I’m in a pinch I’ll use the chip brushes from a local hardware store. But I’m a regular buyer of the Amy Howard chip brushes. They helped me do the piece in this review…something for a potential future project. They are definitely worth the money and the time waiting for them to arrive!
Not all chip brushes are equal!! This brush did not shed!
Nice thickness meaning more bristles. Applying products with a quality chip brush makes a huge difference in the final finish. Love these brushes.

I can’t say enough about Amy’s brushes. This brush is so amazing. I used it to paint all the trim on our little summer home and it’s still going strong. Why spend big bucks on other brushes when these brushes work like a dream! Love them!!!
Great brush that holds paint well.
I was looking for a very light gray in the One Step line by Amy Howard. I finally decided on Manor Gate and I'm so thrilled with the results. I started by cleaning my faux wood cabinets in my RV with clean Slate and finished by using the Mind Your Own Beeswax. No sanding or primer! The coverage is so perfect with only two coats and the smell is very pleasant with the added essential oils. The Clean Slate does have somewhat of a chemical odor but not as strong as paint thinner (just make sure to ventilate the room. I loved being able to clean my beautiful AH angled synthetic brush with just soap and water and my natural bristol chip brush with Clean Slate to get the wax off. I'm now getting ready to do my walls (over ugly RV wall paper) using Italian Silver One Step. I can't wait. Only one problem... I've become addicted to all the wonderful products that Amy Howard Home offers! I will update on my results from using the Copycat product asap!

Amy's chip brush is twice as thick as any other chip brush that is on the market today. The chip brush loads more paint so you will be able to have maximum coverage. Know that I've tried Amy Howard's chip brushes, I won't be using any other brand!
