Zinc Antiquing Solution is designed for use with unfinished and uncoated galvanized sheet metal only. For best results, clean metal with Clean Slate, apply Zinc Antiquing Solution, and buff and seal with Clear Wax. An annual application of Clear Wax is recommended for full protection on your piece.

I used this on my zinc dining room table. I was so scared I would ruin the table, but I watched tutorials and it turned out fantastic. I am so happy I used this!
This was SO cool! We kept watching and re-watching your video to make sure we had it right…I will send more pics once my zinc gets made in to my bar top and backsplash (about 1 month away)
I use it on some metal roofing that I purchased from Lowe's it was a corrugated galvinized roofing that I wanted to Patina to age the metal. Had great results check out the photos of the side of this project it was the base for my dear mount. I will be using this product again.. I also use it on some galvanized electric conduit to patina and use them as curtain rods my outside overhead patio came out great. They were a little tougher than the corrugated sheet metal but got it done
After using muriatic acid to remove the galvanizing it did just what wanted.
Made my new zinc look aged just like I wanted it
I do not use this for the intended purpose. I use it to 'age' brass fittings on the antique-style primitive knives I craft. I dip the brass parts in the zinc solution then apply a flame to oxidize the brass. A few times, some steel wool rubbing and things look two hundred years old.

I used the zinc solution as part of the Amy Howard Old World Finishing Course project. I love how it changed the look of the leaf right before my eyes! Always quality products. I love AH products!
Impressed the transformation of these galvanized steel planters. Love the darker gunmetal color, but natural variation that happens with the metal in the antiquing reaction. I did three applications since the galvanized steel was slow to react. Each time I’d let it dry, dry wipe the ashy residue, then do another application, before finally waxing. Love the outcome.

I used this product on some sheet metal that I’m using to make a decorative magnet board for my newly remodeled kitchen. It was easy to use once I started manipulation of the product. It allowed me to be creative and find the perfect finish I wanted for this piece. I will definitely be using this product in the future for home and some sellable items for my business.
Super easy to use. I couldn’t be happier with this product after trying various other products (from vinegar and salt to oven cleaner). I used Trewax to finish and the counters are smooth and beautiful.
