Aloha Summer Print Project

    Supplies:

    • Mesh Stencil – Aloha Summer
    • Gel Art Ink – Lord Have Mercy
    • Gel Art Ink – Over Yonder
    • Gel Art Ink – Well I Declare
    • Gel Art Ink – If The Creek Don’t Rise
    • Gel Art Ink – Hey Y’all
    • Gel Art Ink – Grass Is Always Greener
    • Artist Brush
    • ChalkArt Spreader

    Additional Supplies Needed:

    • Frame (Target Dollar Section)
    • Watercolor Paper

    Instructions:

    1. Remove the cards within the frame and place them on the watercolor paper. Trace it and then cut out the watercolor card.
    2. Mix a little water with a dab of Gel Art Ink Hey Y’all and If The Creek Don’t Rise in a small bowl. Use the Artist Brush to create a wash over the watercolor paper, varying the density of the color.
    3. Once dry, place the Aloha Summer stencil centered onto the paper.
    4. Then mix together the Grass Is Always Greener and If The Creek Don’t Rise. Apply the green mixture to the leaves of the pineapple.
    5. Once done, mix Lord Have Mercy and Over Yonder but do not completely blend. Apply the partially mixed yellow orange ink to the pineapple.
    6. Next apply Well I Declare to the decorative scrolls around the pineapple. Remove and wash the stencil in lukewarm water.  Once the print has dried, use one of the other cards as the backing to guide it into the frame.
