DIRECTIONS

1. CLEAN FLOORS

Using Lint-free T-Shirt Rag, clean floors with Amy Howard at Home ® Clean Slate™ to remove any dirt or residue.

2. MARK OFF FLOOR PATTERN

Using Metal Ruler or Carpenter’s Square and Pencil or Marker, mark your pattern on the floor. For most impact, run the design diagonally.

3. TAPE OFF FLOOR

Using Painter’s Tape, tape off large squares with 3″ bands between to create white grid. Burnish edges well to prevent paint from bleeding underneath.

4. PAINT INSIDE THE TAPED LINES

Using 4″ Foam Roller, apply two thin coats of Amy Howard at Home ® One Step Paint™ – Bauhaus Buff, allowing 15-20 minutes to dry between coats. After applying second coat and while paint is still wet, carefully remove tape. Allow to dry 24 hours to cure.

5. TAPE OFF SMALL SQUARES

Tape off small squares at each intersection of Bauhaus Buff bands. Burnish inside edges well to prevent paint from bleeding underneath.

6. PAINT SMALL SQUARES

Using Foam Brush, apply two thin coats of Amy Howard at Home ® One Step Paint™ – Black, allowing 15-20 minutes to dry between coats. After applying second coat and while paint is still wet, carefully remove tape. Allow to dry 24 hours to cure.

7. SEAL FLOOR

Using Roller, apply Amy Howard at Home ® Matte Sealer to entire floor. Allow to dry 48-72 hour to fully cure.

8. ENJOY THE BRAGGING RIGHTS!
