Anthropologie-Inspired Dresser Makeover Using One Step Paint & Decorative Molds

Anthropologie-Inspired Dresser Makeover Using One Step Paint & Decorative Molds

Looking for an elegant furniture transformation that blends timeless charm with a touch of modern flair? This Anthropologie-inspired dresser makeover by Waleesa of A Life Refurbished is the perfect example of how you can achieve designer-level results using Amy Howard at Home products.

Waleesa took an ordinary vintage dresser and turned it into a stunning statement piece using a combination of One Step Paint, Decorative Molds, and Cerusing Wax. The finished look is soft, sculptural, and full of delicate texture—perfect for those drawn to romantic, feminine interiors.

How She Did It

This transformation started with proper prep using Clean Slate, ensuring the surface was free from grime and residue. Waleesa then applied our Acrylic Glacier Resin Bundle with Decorative Molds (specifically the Leaves & Ferns and My Flower Garden molds) to create beautiful raised details across the front of the dresser.

For color, she layered One Step Paint in Java and Bauhaus Buff, followed by Cerusing Wax to highlight the texture and give the piece a weathered, whitewashed look.

Products Used:

This transformation showcases the power of paint and detail to turn a dated dresser into a work of art—no sanding, priming, or stripping needed. Whether you're recreating a designer look or simply adding personality to a thrifted piece, Amy Howard at Home products make it easy to DIY like a pro.
